On 8 June this year, KOHLER SDMO donned the colours of Norway. In front of an enthusiastic audience, supported by personnel from Brest, our local distributor, SATEMA, presented KOHLER SDMO solutions, including the new KD Series product range.
On 8 June 2017 in the UBC conference centre in Oslo, our local distributor, SATEMA, held an information day focussing on generating sets, notably the KD engines. 45 people from a variety of very different sectors attended the event.
The day began with a general presentation by SATEMA of KOHLER SDMO and its products. Several technical themes on the sizing and installation of generating sets were covered by our Norwegian partners. The SDMO Industries team consisting of Denis Calves and Jean-Christophe Landuré from Export Sales and Caroline le Bihan, KD Series Product Manager, then took over the baton to present the control unit solutions, namely the APM303, APM 802 and the brand new APM 403. The second part was devoted to a detailed presentation of KOHLER engines, highlighting the advantages of the new KD Series range.
This event was a first for our distributor. The main objective of the seminar was to present and promote its technical expertise to its existing and potential customers and specifiers (consultants, electrical installers, rental companies, etc.). The secondary objective was to promote the joint abilities of KOHLER SDMO and SATEMA in the areas of advice, sales and major project installation.
All the participants expressed their satisfaction with this first meeting, which was concluded with a presentation of a KD1100 genset specially brought along for the occasion. SATEMA's initiative was rewarded by the positive feedback from the seminar, with further similar meetings in the near future now in the pipeline for Norway.
