Basic troubleshooting

Is the fuel level high enough?

Using a funnel and a jerrican, fill with fuel. Make sure that the filter stays in place during this operation!

Are the petrol switch and tap open?

Set the switch to 1 and open the tap.

Is there enough oil in the engine?

With a funnel, add oil up to the mark indicated on the casing.

Is the spark plug in good working order?

Use a spark plug wrench to replace the spark plug.

Does the petrol reach the carburettor?

Check using a flat screwdriver. If the petrol does not reach the carburettor, return your genset to the After-Sale Service.
Return your genset to the After Sales Department.

Set the switch to ON and open the tap.

Is the battery connected, with the + and - terminals the correct way round?

Connect the battery with the correct polarity. Check that the battery contains acid. Turn the key.
